Senior Litigation Associate

Motivated team player for boutique law firm specializing in employment cases for public entities, including FEHA, EEOC, wrongful termination, sexual harassment, age discrimination and civil rights violations. Cases include sexual molestation and assault, sports injuries, traumatic brain injuries, police representation, excessive force and inverse condemnation due to fires and floods. Looking for someone who has been to trial in a first or second chair capacity. Willing to train on the representation of public entities.

The pace is fast but collegial. Job includes client meetings, document review, preparation of witnesses for deposition and trial testimony, court appearances, depositions, expert retention and meetings and responding to discovery. Trial preparation including Motions in Limine, 402 motions, preparation of witnesses and experts for trial testimony and assisting as second chair or trying cases.

The position requires a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and outstanding writing skills. Must have strong organizational skills. Position contemplates eventual partnership if desired.

Pay: $170,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
