Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering
• Preferably 5+ years of experience in aviation
• Knowledge of aviation regulations
• Familiarity with document and report preparation
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Analytical thinking, result-oriented and solution-focused approaches
• High job motivation, interest, and attention to detail
• Team-oriented and open to continuous improvement
• Capable of taking responsibility, making decisions, and implementing them
• Able to take initiative when required
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Willingness to travel and work abroad when required
• Resident in or willing to relocate to the Anatolian side of Istanbul

In this role, you will

• Prepare the heavy maintenance plan for the upcoming maintenance period
• Prepare work scopes for the upcoming heavy maintenance period
• Participate in the review of Base Maintenance Agreements, including redelivery checks, in coordination with other relevant departments
• Ensure that assigned base maintenance tasks are completed properly and in accordance with signed contracts
• Address and resolve issues that arise during base maintenance by communicating with relevant departments
• Coordinate technical support for assigned heavy maintenance, particularly regarding material supply, manpower, and other resources
• Check assigned heavy maintenance invoices in accordance with relevant agreements and take necessary action to resolve conflicts.
• Update completed base maintenance records in the computerized system according to company procedures
• Ensure all technical documents related to your area of responsibility are kept up to date
• Monitor developments in your field (including updates in the civil aviation industry) and propose improvements to enhance departmental services
