They are seeking a Senior Manager – Contract Logistics (Chemicals & Industrial) to lead growth initiatives, drive solution design, and oversee greenfield project development across the region.
Role Overview:
The role focuses on developing and expanding the company’s contract logistics footprint within the chemicals and industrial verticals, ensuring operational excellence, and leading commercial and solution design teams. The ideal candidate will bring deep sector expertise, a strong commercial mindset, and hands-on experience in designing and implementing large-scale warehousing or logistics projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement contract logistics strategies for the Chemicals & Industrial sectors across the GCC.
- Lead solution design, pricing, and engineering for customer proposals and new projects.
- Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities through strategic relationship management.
- Oversee greenfield and brownfield logistics projects, ensuring on-time and cost-efficient delivery.
- Lead a team of CL Engineers and Pricing Specialists, driving collaboration and performance.
- Manage commercial negotiations, RFQs, and renewals with both new and existing customers.
- Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Finance, and Engineering) to align business goals.
- Conduct market analysis to monitor trends, competitor activity, and customer expectations.
- Represent the company at industry forums and trade events to promote service offerings.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, HSE standards, and quality frameworks.
Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Logistics Management (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 15 years of logistics and supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in chemical or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record in contract logistics solution design, project implementation, and commercial management.
- Experience leading greenfield warehouse or terminal developments within the GCC.
- Strong understanding of chemical handling regulations, IMDG standards, and industrial logistics processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical and results-oriented, with the ability to manage complex commercial projects.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel regionally as required.
