Job Title: Senior Manager – Digital Operations & Strategic Projects
Department: Digital Transformation / Operations Reporting To: Head of Operations / Director Programs Location: Head Office – Karachi
Position Type: Full-time
Job Purpose
To oversee and execute a broad range of digital, operational, and strategic initiatives across Baitussalam Welfare Trust. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and coordination skills to ensure efficient processes, Shariah compliance, and impactful service delivery.
Key Responsibilities1. Project Management & Strategic Oversight
● Lead planning, execution, and delivery of projects across welfare programs.
● Align operational activities with organizational goals in coordination with leadership.
● Understand existing operational flows, ensure Shariah compliance, and identify opportunities for optimization.
2. Digital Transformation & Automation
● Act as Product Owner for QMS, DMS, and upcoming applications.
● Gather requirements from users and stakeholders, prioritize features as per organizational needs.
● Design and implement workflow automations using Power Automate, Power Apps, and Dynamics 365.
● Digitize and improve manual processes for donor engagement, reconciliation, and reporting.
● Oversee system integrations, dashboards, and digital enhancements.
● Manage and enhance integrations with payment systems, including reconciliations and settlements.
2. Data & Reporting
● Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and Advanced Excel.
● Ensure accuracy, integrity, and usability of operational data.
● Perform data analysis to identify trends and process improvements.
3. Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
● Collaborate with vendors, developers, and internal teams for system development and implementation.
● Manage timelines, feedback cycles, and user training.
4. Documentation
● Develop SOPs, process flows, and user guides to standardize operations.
5. Team & Resource Support
● Mentor and guide team members across departments to strengthen technical and operational capacity.
Required Qualifications & Skills
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Administration.
● 5–8 years of relevant experience with proven project ownership.
● Expertise in Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Advanced Excel, and data automation.
● Basic database familiarity with MySQL.
● Understanding of system integrations, payment systems, reconciliations, and settlements.
● Strong communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
● Experience in the nonprofit or welfare sector.
● Understanding of donor lifecycle and charity operations.
● Familiarity with agile methodologies.
Soft Skills
● Adaptability to changing priorities.
● Leadership and problem-solving abilities.
● Stakeholder empathy.
● Ability to multitask and deliver under pressure.
