The Role

Our client, a leading and rapidly growing name in the Real Estate Development sector, is seeking a high-caliber, strategic, and meticulous Senior Manager Finance. This is a pivotal role requiring a blend of technical mastery in financial reporting, tax compliance, and the ability to navigate the complexities of large-scale project financing and real estate accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy & Oversight: Manage the complete financial cycle, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for multi-billion rupee projects.
• Reporting: Ensure preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulatory frameworks.
• Taxation & Compliance: Oversee direct and indirect tax matters (Income Tax, Sales Tax, Provincial Levies) specific to the real estate industry.
• Project Costing: Lead project-based accounting, monitoring construction costs (POC method), and cash flow management to ensure project viability.
• Audit & Controls: Coordinate with internal and external auditors; strengthen internal control environments to mitigate financial risks.
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with banks for project financing and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies.

Candidate Profile

• Qualification: Must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).
• Articleship: Candidates who have completed their mandatory training (Articleship) from Big 4 Audit Firms (PwC, EY, KPMG, Deloitte) will be given strong preference.
• Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of post-qualification experience. Prior experience in Real Estate, Construction, or Infrastructure projects is highly desirable but not mandatory for an exceptional candidate.
• Skills: * Advanced command over Financial Modeling and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
• Deep understanding of the tax laws governing the real estate sector in Pakistan.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse finance team.
