RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports marketing functions across all offices.
- Supports market sector and business unit marketing strategies for new and existing clients.
- Supports corporate awards programs.
- Ensures brand standards are met and consistent across all marketing and proposal materials.
- Analyzes RFP/RFQs and communicates requirements to pursuit team.
- Oversees RFP/RFQ proposal efforts from pursuit initiation through submission.
- Participates in developing proposal win strategies to ensure complete and compliant RFP/RFQ responses.
- Participates in preparation and coaching of project interview preparation with project pursuit teams.
- Produces written and visual content for project interviews and external presentations.
- Maintains and archives project interview support material for future use.
- Plans and obtains external-facing content for media use.
- Contributes to marketing campaigns by applying intermediate marketing strategy principles.
- Develops content including written, digital, and video for social media and other external publications.
- Conducts, collects, and analyzes intermediate market research to support competitive pursuit strategy and planning.
- Maintains accurate and current data in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
- Creates reports and data comparisons from CRM.
- Coordinates, supports, and attends marketing-related events, including project milestone events, trade shows, and client engagements.
- Engages with industry and community organizations to support business development initiatives.
- Maintains inventory of supplies and marketing materials.
- Reviews and gains understanding of all new construction projects for building marketing assets; travels to project and client locations as required.
- Understands components of quality project and team photography.
- Understands and uses SMPS Markendium Six Domains.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or English preferred
EXPERIENCE
4+ years in marketing, AEC preferred
TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Intermediate working knowledge of creative and design software, Adobe Suite required; Illustrator and Photoshop preferred.
- Intermediate working knowledge of standard Marketing and Business Development software, Hootsuite and WordPress preferred.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint required).
- Intermediate working technical writing, proofreading, editing and graphic design.
- Intermediate working knowledge website design and maintenance.
- Videography skills for content development (social media, website content, etc.).
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Verifiable work references.
- Successful completion of post-offer background & drug screens.
- All positions at GH Phipps are considered safety sensitive. Position may be required to visit a construction site at any time.
- In person, regular attendance required.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
The salary range for this position is $69,000 – $87,500 annually and is dependent in experience and title/rank of position offered.

Compensation
Our compensation package includes a competitive salary, participation in our employee stock ownership program (ESOP) on your first day of hire, and eligibility in our annual bonus program. Annual ESOP contributions and bonuses are dependent on company performance and are not guaranteed from year to year. Both ESOP and bonuses are calculated on one’s eligible compensation for the year.
Holidays and Paid-Time Off
Employees get seven paid holidays (designated) and one paid floating holiday.
PTO may be used for vacation, sick time, or other personal matters and is based on years of employment and years of experience.
