Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location: Benghazi-Libya

We are a leading construction company in Libya, specializing in large-scale infrastructure projects. With a workforce of over 7,500 employees and a reputation for excellence, we are expanding our team and seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to drive innovation in mechanical systems design and implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee mechanical systems, including stormwater drainage networks, water supply systems, firefighting networks, and pump rooms .
• Select and specify pumps, pipelines, and tanks, ensuring compatibility with site elevations and overall project layouts.
• Coordinate with civil and architectural teams to integrate mechanical systems seamlessly into buildings and infrastructure.
• Manage QC/QA processes , ensuring compliance with safety standards, technical specifications, and local regulations.
• Lead a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and ensuring timely project delivery.
• Review and optimize designs using advanced software tools, ensuring cost-efficiency and sustainability.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Experience: 8–12 years in mechanical design for infrastructure projects (e.g., administrative complexes, hospitals, or utilities).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in: AutoCAD, 3D Civil, Revit, Elite, and Excel.
• Hydraulic calculations and pump system design.
• Leadership: Ability to manage teams and collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
