Senior Mechanical Engineer (Pharma)

Job Description:

1. Manage and supervise mechanical maintenance of pharma machinery and utilities.

2. Ensure compliance with GMP standards and regulatory requirements.

3. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with production and utility equipment.

4. Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.

5. Lead and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.

6. Coordinate with production and quality teams to maintain smooth operations.

7. Manage installation, calibration, and validation of new equipment.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering

2. Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical machinery, HVAC, boilers, chillers, compressors, and other utilities.

3. Hands-on expertise in troubleshooting, validation, and documentation.

4. Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.

Experience Required (if any):

1. Minimum 7 years of proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
