Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (Primary Focus)
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable for multiple locations/entities
- Review, code, and process high-volume invoices accurately and timely
- Ensure proper approvals and compliance with company policies
- Maintain vendor records and resolve discrepancies or billing issues
- Prepare and execute weekly check runs, ACH, and electronic payments
- Monitor aging reports and ensure timely payments to avoid penalties
- Handle vendor communications and maintain strong relationships
Multi-Unit Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate financial records for multiple locations
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations (bank, credit card, etc.)
- Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals
- Prepare P&L statements for multiple units using Quickbooks
- Ensure consistency in accounting practices across all locations
Reporting & Compliance
- Generate financial and AP reports for leadership
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
- Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed
Process Improvement & Leadership
- Identify and implement efficiencies in AP and bookkeeping processes
- Help standardize procedures across all locations
- Train and support junior accounting staff as needed
- Collaborate with operations teams to improve financial performance
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, preferably in a multi-unit or multi-entity environment
- Strong experience in accounts payable required
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, or similar)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
