Park Services is hiring for one full-time, non-exempt Senior Parks Technician to join the Mowing Crew. This position is regularly scheduled from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m, Monday - Friday. Hours could vary based on weather and department needs.
Interviews are tentatively scheduled for the week of July 6.

Salary Range: $30.83 - $37.69/hour

The incumbent performs semi-skilled and skilled work in a lead worker capacity in the maintenance of the undeveloped and developed park areas. Work at this level is further characterized by specialized knowledge and skills used in the accomplishment of assignments. His/her primary responsibilities include performing a variety of semi- skilled and skilled tasks of routine to moderate difficulty related to the City and County's parks function and providing information and assistance to City and County staff and the public.
Education
Experience
2 years experience required in construction, maintenance, and repair activities within the respective maintenance division.
1 year experience preferred in supervision of seasonal labor, volunteers, or part time positions.
Years of related experience may be substituted for required education, however education cannot be substituted for the necessary work experience. Candidates must meet the minimum required years of work experience.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (in addition to above requirements):
