💼 Senior Planning Manager – CCGT Power Project

📍 Rabigh, Saudi Arabia

We are seeking an experienced Planning Manager to oversee scheduling, controls, and reporting for a major Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power project . This role is central to ensuring successful delivery by driving best practices in project planning, risk management, and stakeholder reporting.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the development of Level 3 baseline schedules and project control procedures, ensuring alignment with project management specifications.
• Oversee detailed implementation of project control tools with the EPC contractor, including Level 4 schedules, registers, and KPIs to ensure early identification of risks.
• Continuously monitor the critical path, providing early warnings and recovery strategies to de-risk project delivery.
• Review and comment on EPC contractor monthly progress reports, addressing contractual and scheduling risks.
• Prepare monthly progress reports for the offtaker, lenders, and internal stakeholders, including presentations for monthly progress meetings.
• Support claims management (EOTs), preparing and analyzing schedule justifications in coordination with EPC and offtaker.
• Ensure strict compliance with PPA and EPC contract requirements as they relate to planning, scheduling, and reporting.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; PMP or CAPM certification preferred.
• 12–15 years of project planning & controls experience, including at least 10 years in large-scale EPC projects .
• Proven track record as Planning Manager on at least 4 fully completed major projects.
• Strong knowledge of CCGT power plant construction methodologies and EPC execution.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling and advanced project control techniques.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Team leadership skills with 3–5 years of people management experience.
