Qualification:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or related field.
Experience:
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in polyester fiber, polymer, textile, or chemical process industries.
- Strong experience in fiber manufacturing processes polymerization, spinning, drawing.
- Hands-on expertise in process troubleshooting and optimization.
Key Responsibilities1. Process Optimization & Performance Monitoring
- Monitor and analyze process parameters across polymerization, spinning, drawing, and cutting sections.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement optimization strategies to improve throughput and quality.
- Ensure consistent production performance within defined quality and safety standards.
2. Troubleshooting & Technical Support
- Lead root cause analysis for process deviations, equipment issues, and quality defects.
- Provide immediate technical support to production teams during breakdowns or abnormal process behavior.
- Coordinate with Mechanical and E&I departments for corrective actions.
3. Quality Improvement
- Work closely with QC/QA teams to maintain and enhance product quality.
- Implement process adjustments to minimize variations in denier, tensile strength, moisture, and other fiber properties.
- Evaluate customer feedback and drive corrective and preventive actions CAPA.
4. Project & Modification Work
- Lead process-related improvement projects and plant modification initiatives.
- Participate in commissioning and trials for new machines, technologies, and process upgrades.
- Liaise with vendors for equipment enhancements, chemicals, and process-related accessories.
5. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze daily production and performance data to identify trends and improvement areas.
- Prepare technical reports, dashboards, and process monitoring sheets.
- Recommend operational changes to senior management based on data-driven insights.
6. SOP Development & Training
- Develop, review, and update SOPs, work instructions, and process guidelines.
- Train production staff and shift teams on process control, troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to standards and reduce human error in operations.
7. Safety, Compliance & Environment
- Ensure compliance with HSE policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and support implementation of safe operating procedures.
- Work on energy conservation, waste reduction, and environmental sustainability initiatives.
