Senior Procurement Engineer Construction Experience 10 years

Experience Required: Minimum 7–10 Years in UAE Construction

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Procurement Engineer with strong knowledge of the UAE construction market. The candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, sourcing materials, evaluating suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and subcontract packages for construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of construction materials, equipment, and subcontract packages.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, analyze supplier quotations, and perform technical and commercial evaluations.
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and quantity surveyors to understand project procurement requirements.
• Ensure materials and services are delivered on time to meet project schedules.
• Maintain an approved vendor list and develop relationships with reliable suppliers in the UAE market.
• Review technical specifications and ensure purchased materials meet project requirements.
• Prepare purchase orders and monitor order progress until delivery.
• Support cost control initiatives by identifying competitive suppliers and value engineering opportunities.
• Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and project contracts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical preferred).
• Minimum 7–10 years of procurement experience in UAE construction companies.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, subcontracting, and supplier networks in the UAE.
• Experience in tendering, commercial evaluation, and contract negotiation.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP procurement systems.
• Strong communication, analytical, and negotiation skills.
