- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational goals.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate and establish long-term relationships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Assist in the development of procurement budgets and monitor expenses to ensure alignment with financial goals.
- Conduct cost analyses to identify opportunities for savings and efficiency improvements.
- Assess and evaluate the quality of goods and services received, addressing any discrepancies with suppliers.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement metrics, including savings achieved, supplier performance, and inventory levels.
- Monitor and analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers and products.
- Manage procurement process from requisition through sourcing, purchasing, and receiving.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with store department to procure demand order and assess inventory levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management (5+ years preferred).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools (ERP Oracle) or
- In-depth knowledge of market trends, supplier sourcing, and contract management.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
