Alokozay Group of Companies is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to support the procurement function in sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services necessary for manufacturing and distribution operations. The ideal candidate will manage supplier sourcing, negotiations, and ensure a seamless procurement process aligned with fast-paced FMCG and industrial sector requirements. This position demands strong ERP, Excel, and market analysis skills to optimize cost and maintain supply chain reliability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Procurement Manager in implementing sourcing strategies to meet production and operational needs.
  • Execute the full procurement cycle from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Source, evaluate, and recommend suppliers for raw materials, technical items, machinery, and indirect procurement needs.
  • Conduct RFQs (Request for Quotations), negotiate prices, terms, and finalize purchase agreements.
  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Liaise with factory production, planning, maintenance, and logistics teams to manage procurement priorities across multiple sites.
  • Track material lead times and proactively mitigate potential supply disruptions.
  • Manage procurement-related issues such as quality claims and supplier disputes, escalating critical issues to management when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier databases, and contract files.
  • Analyse procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and support strategic sourcing decisions.
  • Prepare basic dashboards and reports using Excel and Power BI for management review.
  • Contribute to ethical sourcing and sustainability initiatives.
