Project Manager Civil Dubai Urgently required.
the incumbent is required to have at least 12-15 years or more of UAE preferably Dubai and should be capable to oversee construction projects from start to finish, responsible for planning, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Key duties include collaborating with architects and engineers, managing contracts, negotiating with vendors, overseeing construction teams, monitoring project progress, and communicating with stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Initiation: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Contract and Procurement Management: Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors, manage the procurement of materials and equipment, and ensure all contractual conditions are met.
- Site Supervision: Coordinate and direct all on-site construction activities, oversee the work of construction teams and subcontractors, and ensure adherence to health and safety standards.
- Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project costs, manage the budget, and track cash flow to minimize overspending and maintain profitability.
- Quality and Compliance: Ensure that all construction work and materials meet required quality standards and comply with local regulations and international standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular progress reports to clients, senior management, and other stakeholders through meetings, emails, and phone calls.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans to prevent or minimize their impact.
- Team Leadership and Coordination: Lead and coordinate the project team, including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Project Closeout: Oversee the distribution of closeout materials, facilitate punch list final sign-off, and ensure all contract paperwork is completed for final acceptance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is often required.
- Experience: Proven experience in construction project management, often with a focus on specific types of projects like high-rise buildings.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software, strong understanding of construction procedures, and knowledge of contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- Local Regulations: Strong knowledge of local construction regulations and authority requirements, especially in the specific location where the work is performed.
