Job Description
- Manage and supervise all high-rise construction activities, ensuring execution is in line with approved drawings, project specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Act as the main liaison between consultants, contractors, suppliers, and client representatives to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Oversee structural works, MEP coordination, and architectural finishes with a focus on high-rise building standards.
- Prepare and present detailed project progress reports, highlighting achievements, risks, and mitigation plans.
- Monitor construction schedules, identify potential bottlenecks, and implement corrective measures to meet deadlines.
- Review and approve shop drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals to ensure compliance with design intent.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify compliance with QA/QC protocols, safety regulations, and international building codes.
- Enforce Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, promoting a strong safety culture among all project staff.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and technical expertise to site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Coordinate closely with planning and cost control teams to support budget monitoring, material tracking, and subcontractor payment validation.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including RFIs, NCRs, inspection checklists, and as-built drawings.
- Represent the company in meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders, providing professional updates and solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement by applying value engineering principles and optimizing construction methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 10–15 years of relevant construction experience, with at least 5 years in high-rise building projects.
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects within budget and schedule constraints.
- Strong knowledge of structural systems, MEP coordination, façade works, and finishing for high-rise towers.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project planning software (Primavera P6 / MS Project).
- Familiarity with international building codes, local authority regulations, and QA/QC processes.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, capable of mentoring junior engineers and supervising diverse teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and reporting skills for interaction with clients and consultants.
- GCC experience and a valid driving license are highly preferred.
