Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior QA/QC Engineer – Aluminum & Façade to lead and manage all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for façade and aluminum projects based in Al Quoz, Dubai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all fabrication and installation works comply with project specifications, international quality standards, and UAE authority regulations. This role requires strong technical expertise in façade systems, factory inspections, site quality control, and coordination with consultants and third-party inspectors.

Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Planning & Implementation

• Develop, implement, and maintain Project Quality Plans (PQP), QA/QC procedures, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for aluminum and façade works.
• Establish quality benchmarks and inspection checklists aligned with project specifications and standards.
• Ensure adherence to approved shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.

Inspection & Compliance

• Conduct regular inspections for fabrication, assembly, glazing, installation, and finishing works at both factory and site levels.
• Verify compliance with ASTM, BS, EN, ISO, and UAE authority requirements.
• Oversee mock-up inspections, performance testing, and façade water/air infiltration tests.

Coordination & Reporting

• Liaise with consultants, clients, project managers, and third-party inspectors for approvals and audits.
• Prepare and submit QA/QC reports, inspection records, and quality dashboards to management.
• Participate in project progress meetings and technical reviews.

Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions

• Identify Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor closure of NCRs and maintain proper documentation trails.
• Ensure continuous improvement in quality performance metrics.

Documentation & Equipment Control

• Review and approve material submittals, samples, technical data sheets, and quality documentation.
• Maintain calibration records and ensure proper usage of inspection and testing equipment.
• Ensure document control and version tracking of quality files.

Team Leadership & Training

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to QA/QC inspectors and junior engineers.
• Conduct internal quality training sessions and awareness programs.
• Promote a culture of quality, safety, and compliance across departments.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8–12 years of proven QA/QC experience in aluminum and façade projects (mandatory).
• Strong technical knowledge of façade systems including curtain wall, cladding, glazing, skylights, louvers, ACP, and unitized systems.
• Hands-on experience in factory QA/QC processes and site installation inspections.
• In-depth understanding of international standards (ASTM, BS, EN, ISO) and UAE regulatory authority requirements.
• Demonstrated experience working with consultants, contractors, and third-party testing agencies in the UAE.
• Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and quality documentation systems.
