Senior Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and manage detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and budgetary control documents as per project and contractual requirements.
• Perform accurate quantity take-offs for Civil, Structural, Architectural, and MEP disciplines using approved drawings and specifications.
• Lead tender preparation, pricing, and evaluation processes, ensuring competitive and compliant submissions.
• Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations, prepare comparison statements, and support in contract negotiations and awards.
• Administer and manage contracts, including handling variations, claims, and change orders, in line with FIDIC and project standards.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow to ensure effective cost control and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare interim valuations, payment applications, and final account documentation with full supporting details.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, planners, and procurement teams to align cost objectives with project execution strategies.
• Support value engineering reviews and propose cost-saving measures without compromising quality or timelines.
• Maintain organized project records, commercial correspondence, and contractual documentation for audit and reference.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 7–10 years of professional experience in quantity surveying, preferably in GCC building or infrastructure projects.
• In-depth knowledge of estimation, tendering, contract management, and project cost control.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, CostX, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, and MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of FIDIC contract conditions and regional construction standards.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage project costs independently and support multiple concurrent assignments.
• GCC experience and a valid driving license are highly desirable.
