Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and manage detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and budgetary control documents as per project and contractual requirements.
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs for Civil, Structural, Architectural, and MEP disciplines using approved drawings and specifications.
- Lead tender preparation, pricing, and evaluation processes, ensuring competitive and compliant submissions.
- Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotations, prepare comparison statements, and support in contract negotiations and awards.
- Administer and manage contracts, including handling variations, claims, and change orders, in line with FIDIC and project standards.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow to ensure effective cost control and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare interim valuations, payment applications, and final account documentation with full supporting details.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, planners, and procurement teams to align cost objectives with project execution strategies.
- Support value engineering reviews and propose cost-saving measures without compromising quality or timelines.
- Maintain organized project records, commercial correspondence, and contractual documentation for audit and reference.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- 7–10 years of professional experience in quantity surveying, preferably in GCC building or infrastructure projects.
- In-depth knowledge of estimation, tendering, contract management, and project cost control.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, CostX, PlanSwift, Bluebeam, and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of FIDIC contract conditions and regional construction standards.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage project costs independently and support multiple concurrent assignments.
- GCC experience and a valid driving license are highly desirable.
