Job Overview:

We are hiring a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, tendering, billing, and BOQs for our ongoing and upcoming government sector projects. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in highways and infrastructure, along with a clear understanding of public sector construction protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review detailed BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents.
• Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and site visits.
• Manage billing, interim payment certificates, and final accounts.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and clients.
• Ensure compliance with government construction standards.
• Handle variation orders, project claims, and material reconciliations.
• Participate in site visits to verify work done for billing purposes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the government construction sector.
• Expertise in highway and infrastructure projects (NHA, LDA, etc.).
• Proficiency in tender preparation, rate analysis, and billing software/tools.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to sites (vehicle provided by the company).
• Must have worked exclusively or predominantly in government-related projects.
