The Division:

Founded in 2009, Premier Construction Software is a global provider of AI-powered construction ERP solutions. Premier helps construction teams manage complex financials, automate workflows, and gain real-time visibility into project performance through intelligent, data-driven tools.

With offices across North America, Australia/New Zealand, and the UAE, Premier supports customers operating in multiple regions and time zones. Premier is a subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc., a global leader in vertical market software.

The Position:

We are hiring Senior Software Developer (Support) to expand our technical support capacity as the platform scales. This is a senior, hands-on role focused on complex troubleshooting, data integrity, API-based integrations, and close collaboration with Product, Development, and QA teams. The role requires strong SQL expertise, sound judgment, and deep ERP domain knowledge.

Reporting & Collaboration:

This role reports directly to the Tech Support Lead. In addition, the Senior Technical Support Engineer works closely with the Executive Product Director on customer-support-related initiatives, escalations, and systemic product improvements informed by support trends. The successful hire will work from the Contour Software Lahore office as part of the resource-center team that is an extension of the division-based R&D department.

Coverage & Time Zone Alignment:

AU Time Zone – Primary support for Australia with overlap into North America

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and resolve complex, data-centric and integration-related technical issues

  • Investigate discrepancies across UI, reports, APIs, workflows, and database layers

  • Safely perform approved data corrections with strong audit and data-integrity awareness

  • Troubleshoot API-related issues including payload validation, data mapping, and system interactions

  • Determine when issues require product or engineering escalation versus data or configuration fixes

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Development, QA, and Support leadership

  • Provide clear written and verbal communication on root cause, impact, and resolution

Business & Domain Knowledge:

  • ERP systems with construction or project-based accounting

  • General Ledger, fiscal periods, AP/AR workflows, and financial controls

  • Job Costing, Subcontracts, Change Orders, Billing, and Forecasting

  • Reporting accuracy, cross-module data consistency, and downstream financial impact

Technical Skills (Must-Have):

  • Expert-level Microsoft SQL Server (advanced troubleshooting, scripting, execution)

  • Strong understanding of audit-safe data handling in production environments

  • C# / ASP.NET (ability to read and understand backend service logic)

  • REST API fundamentals (request/response analysis, payloads, status codes, integrations)

  • Angular (working knowledge for UI and API interaction analysis)
