Position Overview

WKADY Technology is seeking a high-performing Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering hub in Al Khor. As we scale our digital solutions across the Middle East and beyond, we need a technical leader who combines deep coding expertise with a robust understanding of system architecture and operational efficiency.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying mission-critical software. You will serve as a technical anchor for the team, ensuring that our codebases are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with international best practices.

Core Responsibilities

• Full-Stack Development: Lead the end-to-end development of complex web and mobile applications using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js, or Python/Django).
• System Architecture: Design scalable microservices architectures and manage database schemas to ensure high availability and performance.
• Code Integrity: Conduct rigorous peer code reviews and implement automated testing suites to maintain zero-defect production environments.
• Data Management: Utilize advanced data handling techniques—including complex Excel macros and XLOOKUP for legacy data migration and system consolidation tasks.
• DevOps Integration: Collaborate with operations teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
• Technical Mentorship: Act as a "Team Leader" figure, guiding junior developers through technical roadblocks and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
• Cross-Border Coordination: Work effectively with international stakeholders and remote departments to ensure project alignment across different time zones.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 8–12 years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record in a senior or lead capacity.
• Technical Stack: * Expert-level proficiency in at least two major programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript).
• Strong experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and RESTful API design.
• Familiarity with ERP integrations (D365 or similar) is a significant advantage.
• Languages: Professional fluency in English is mandatory. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus but not required.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills and a "work-hard, play-hard" mentality—someone who is driven by professional excellence and a passion for travel.
