Senior Specialist - Group Accounting

Qiddiya Investment Company is spearheading the transformation of entertainment and leisure in Saudi Arabia, and we are on the lookout for a talented individual to fill the role of Senior Specialist in Group Accounting. This key position will ensure the delivery of precise and timely financial information, which is vital for our strategic objectives.

The Senior Specialist in Group Accounting will take charge of the consolidation of financial statements, implement robust accounting policies, and uphold adherence to relevant accounting standards. Your contributions will be critical in enhancing the quality of our financial reporting and supporting informed decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial consolidation processes for all entities within the group, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and procedures that ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS)
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the entire group, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness
• Review, analyze, and validate financial information from subsidiary companies, ensuring complete accuracy
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual audit cycles and resolve audit inquiries efficiently
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by providing critical financial insights and analysis
• Monitor compliance with financial controls and identify opportunities for process improvements
• Train and guide finance teams across different entities on best accounting practices and policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA) is highly desirable
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in group or corporate accounting roles
• Deep understanding of international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and principles of accounting
• Experience with financial consolidation and reporting practices in a corporate environment
• Exceptional analytical skills with a meticulous focus on detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel capabilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork
• Capacity to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic work environment
