Senior SQA Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test cases based on requirements and technical specifications.
• Identify, document, and track bugs through resolution using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, DevOps) to understand requirements and test coverage needs.
• Lead test planning and test strategy discussions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Drive continuous improvement in QA practices, tools, and processes.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives as part of an Agile team.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and assist in code reviews of automated test scripts.
• Ensure proper test coverage through requirements traceability and risk-based testing.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in software QA, including both manual and automation testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, TestNG, or similar.
• Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
• Familiarity with REST API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
