Position Overview

AREC Engineering Consultants is seeking a Dubai Municipality (DM) Approved Unlimited Structural Engineer with 10–15 years of experience in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in structural design, authority approvals, and advanced proficiency in structural software and BIM tools, including Revit.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage structural design for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.

* Prepare, review, and submit drawings and calculations for Dubai Municipality and other authority approvals.

* Ensure compliance with UAE building codes and international standards.

* Perform advanced structural analysis using ETABS, SAFE, STAAD, SAP2000, etc.

* Develop and coordinate BIM / Revit-based structural models.

* Supervise and mentor junior engineers and draftsmen.

* Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and project managers.

* Support tendering, construction supervision, and value engineering stages.

* Liaise with authorities to secure project approvals.

* Resolve site technical issues and ensure compliance with approved designs.

Qualifications & Requirements

* DM Approved Unlimited Structural Engineer license (mandatory).

* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil / Structural Engineering.

* 10–15 years of experience in Dubai with engineering consultants.

* Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, SAP2000, PROKON, AutoCAD, Revit.

* Strong knowledge of Revit Structure and BIM workflows.

* Excellent knowledge of ACI, BS, Eurocode, and UAE regulations.

* Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.

* Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

* Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
