Senior Supply Chain Manager

Role Overview

As the Senior Supply Chain Manager, you will lead the end-to-end supply chain strategy, ensuring the seamless flow of goods from international and local suppliers to the final customer. You will be responsible for optimizing logistics, managing complex import/export processes within the Pakistan Single Window (PSW) framework, and building resilient supply lines to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

· Import/Export Management: Oversee all international trade operations, including customs clearance, GD filing, and duty calculations. Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping lines for LCL/FCL shipments and ensure compliance with Pakistan’s regulatory requirements.

· Logistics & Distribution: Manage inbound and outbound logistics, optimizing transportation routes and warehouse storage to reduce lead times and costs.

· Supply Line & Procurement: Develop and execute sourcing strategies to secure reliable supply lines. Lead vendor selection and negotiate favorable terms for raw materials and services.

· Inventory Control: Monitor and optimize stock levels using Just-In-Time (JIT) principles to balance production needs against overstock risks.

· Strategic Leadership: Identify potential supply chain risks (e.g., port congestion, currency fluctuations) and develop robust mitigation plans.

Required Qualifications

· Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.

· Experience: Minimum 7–10 years of experience in supply chain, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role, preferably in manufacturing or FMCG.

· Technical Skills:

o Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., , , or Microsoft Dynamics).

o Deep knowledge of Pakistan Single Window (PSW) and customs laws.

o Advanced data analysis using MS Excel and BI tools.

· Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation: Proven ability to build international supplier relationships and secure cost-effective deals.

· Risk Management: Proactive approach to identifying and solving bottlenecks in the supply chain.

· Cross-Functional Collaboration: Skilled at aligning supply chain goals with Finance, Sales, and Production departments.

· Regulatory Expertise: Mastery of international shipping terms (Incoterms), LC/trade finance, and local import standards.

· Leadership: Experience in mentoring and building high-performing operational teams
