Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator / Senior Quantity Surveyor (Civil) with a strong background in tendering and pre-contract commercial management. The ideal candidate should have extensive UAE experience, strong knowledge of FIDIC, and the ability to handle end-to-end tendering and cost estimation activities and valid UAE driving license and own car .

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender submissions
• Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Manage pre-contract and tendering processes end-to-end
• Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis
• Perform value engineering and cost optimization
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Participate in vendor negotiations and commercial discussions
• Conduct risk analysis and identify cost exposures
• Support contract administration with FIDIC knowledge
• Coordinate with technical and project teams for tender inputs

Experience Requirements

• Civil Engineer or Quantity Surveying graduate
• 10–15+ years of total construction experience in UAE
• Minimum 6 years in a senior role (Estimator / Senior QS / Tender Manager)
• Experience in pre-contract, tendering, and cost estimation
• Experience in high-rise, villas, infrastructure, or fit-out projects preferred
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness

Technical Skills

• Estimation software such as Candy, CostX, PlanSwift
• Primavera P6 or MS Project
• AutoCAD for quantity take-offs
• Advanced Excel skills (BOQs, cost analysis, formulas)
• ERP system knowledge (SAP is an advantage)
• Strong understanding of FIDIC contracts

Professional Certifications (Preferred but not mandatory)

• PMP – Project Management Professional
• RICS – Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
• CIOB – Chartered Institute of Building
• Certified Cost Professional (CCP) – advantage
