Testing & Commissioning Engineer – STP Project (Qatar)

We are looking for a Testing & Commissioning Engineer with experience in Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) or Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) projects to support the commissioning and start-up of plant systems. The role involves system testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the plant before handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing commissioning procedures, method statements, and testing protocols.
• Support system testing and start-up of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and process systems.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and construction teams during commissioning activities.
• Verify PLC/SCADA integration, instrumentation calibration, and control logic functionality.
• Monitor plant performance during testing and identify technical issues or operational deviations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare testing reports, punch lists, and commissioning documentation.
• Support training and handover to Operations & Maintenance teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Process Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in testing and commissioning of STP/WWTP or similar water infrastructure projects.
• Experience in system troubleshooting, process testing, and equipment start-up.
• Knowledge of PLC/SCADA systems and instrumentation is preferred.
• Commissioning or wastewater-related certifications are an advantage.
