Senior Upwork Bidder /Business Development Executive

Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Upwork Bidder to lead and optimize the entire Upwork project lifecycle from opportunity identification to deal closure and long-term client retention. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record of consistently winning high-value projects, developing client relationships, and driving revenue growth through Upwork.

This role requires advanced expertise in market positioning, proposal strategy, pricing negotiation, and stakeholder communication. The Senior Upwork Bidder will also mentor junior team members and collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure seamless project execution and exceptional client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategically identify high-value and long-term opportunities on Upwork aligned with company capabilities.
  • Develop tailored, high-converting proposals that clearly articulate value propositions and competitive differentiation.
  • Lead client communication, requirement analysis, and contract negotiations.
  • Own the complete sales cycle from bidding to contract signing and project handover.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business and upselling opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (development, design, content, etc.) to ensure smooth project initiation and delivery.
  • Monitor project milestones and proactively resolve challenges to maintain client satisfaction.
  • Analyze bidding performance metrics and continuously optimize strategy for higher win rates.
  • Guide and mentor junior bidders, ensuring best practices in proposal writing and client handling.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of proven experience in Upwork bidding and project acquisition.
  • Demonstrated history of securing mid-to-high ticket projects.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills.
  • Ability to analyze client requirements and align them with strategic solutions.
  • Experience managing end-to-end client relationships.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and drive revenue growth.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs180,000.00 per month
