The Role

We are seeking an ambitious Onsite SEO Specialist to join our team at DevShine. This is a perfect role for a Junior or Mid-level professional who wants to work at the intersection of marketing and high-end software engineering. You will be responsible for executing SEO strategies that help our clients—and our agency—shine online.

What You’ll Do

• On-Page Optimization: Perform keyword research and optimize meta tags, headers, and content for our diverse client portfolio (SaaS, Healthcare, Fintech).
• Technical SEO Audits: Assist in identifying crawl errors, broken links, and page speed issues using tools like Search Console, Screaming Frog, or Ahrefs.
• Content Execution: Work with our team to ensure blog posts and landing pages are SEO-friendly and aligned with search intent.
• Link Building: Reach out to industry partners and manage backlink campaigns to grow domain authority.
• Reporting: Prepare weekly performance reports using GA4 and Google Search Console to show growth and areas for improvement.

Requirements

• Experience: 1–3 years of SEO experience (Agency experience is a major plus).
• Onsite Availability: Ability to work from our [City] office daily to collaborate directly with our dev and design teams.
• Foundational Knowledge: You know your way around H1s, Canonical tags, XML sitemaps, and Robots.txt.
• Tech Curiosity: You are excited about Generative AI, RAG, and Web3 and want to learn how to rank websites in these emerging niches.
• Communication: Strong English writing skills and the ability to explain "why" a certain SEO change is needed.

Bonus Points If:

• You have a basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
• You’ve worked with WordPress or Headless CMS platforms.
• You have a personal project or blog you’ve successfully ranked.
