Position Overview

We're looking for a sharp, analytical, and motivated SEO pro to serve as a key right-hand to our Head of SEO. This person will own client SEO execution, lead junior team members, and help develop and refine processes that move the needle.

This is not just a behind-the-scenes role—it's hands-on, client-impacting, and strategy-focused. You’ll bring both data-driven analysis and strong leadership chops, helping us ensure every client campaign delivers real, measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Execute and optimize local and national SEO strategies for home service businesses (primarily plumbing and HVAC).
Analyze rankings, traffic, and conversion data to measure performance and provide recommendations.
Manage a small team of junior SEO specialists, delegating tasks and ensuring quality execution.
Conduct technical SEO audits and implement improvements across client websites.
Perform keyword research, competitor gap analysis, and content audits to identify optimization opportunities.
Collaborate with the Head of SEO to refine processes, templates, and internal workflows.
Work closely with content creators and web developers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all digital assets.
Monitor algorithm updates and industry changes to keep our strategies sharp and effective.
Help maintain dashboards and reports in Looker Studio and other tools to track and present progress.
Oversee execution of on-page SEO, internal linking structures, and local SEO tactics (including Google Business Profiles).
Assist with training and onboarding of new SEO team members as we continue to scale.

What You Bring to the Table
3+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably in an agency or B2B environment.
Experience in the home services space (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, roofing, etc.) is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
Proficient in reading SEO data and turning it into actionable insight.
Comfortable managing projects, reviewing others’ work, and providing constructive feedback.
Ability to clearly communicate SEO concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proactive mindset—able to identify opportunities, solve problems, and get sh*t done.
Familiarity with local SEO ranking factors and strategies, especially for Google Maps/GMB/GBP.

Salary Range

$65,000 – $85,000, depending on experience.
