Pay - $50,000 - $60,000

Job Summary

The Plumbing Dispatcher plays a critical role in maximizing technician productivity and service efficiency. This position is responsible for strategically scheduling and dispatching plumbing technicians to ensure optimal route planning, minimal downtime, and high job completion rates. The Dispatcher actively monitors daily performance metrics, adjusts schedules in real-time to improve utilization, and ensures every available technician hour is effectively allocated.

This role requires strong decision-making skills, urgency management, and the ability to balance customer satisfaction with operational efficiency and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming technician calls and schedule service appointments
• Dispatch plumbing technicians based on location, availability, and job priority
• Communicate job details, updates, and changes to technicians and customers in real-time including appointment confirmations and updates
• Monitor technician routes and adjust schedules as needed through GPS and Internal systems
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, customer information, and job status
• Coordinate emergency service calls and prioritize urgent requests
• Assist with invoicing, data entry, and administrative tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• 3-5 years of dispatching, scheduling, or customer service experience
• Strong communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with scheduling software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office
• Basic understanding of commercial plumbing services and job types
