Job Title - ServiceNow HRSD & Custom Applications Developer

Job Summary - We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow HRSD & Custom Applications Developer to design, develop, configure, and support HR Service Delivery (HRSD) solutions and custom applications on the ServiceNow platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, user-friendly, and secure solutions that improve employee experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities - ServiceNow HRSD DevelopmentDesign, configure, and customize ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) modules including:Case & Knowledge ManagementEmployee Service Center (ESC)Lifecycle EventsHR Catalog & WorkflowsDevelop and maintain HR workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and notificationsIntegrate HRSD with third-party systems (e.g., payroll, identity management, ERP systems)Custom Application DevelopmentDesign and develop custom ServiceNow applications using:Flow DesignerScript IncludesScoped ApplicationsUI Builder / Service PortalBuild reusable components and ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practicesPerform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimizationPlatform & IntegrationDevelop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs , MID Server, and IntegrationHubEnsure data integrity, security, and role-based access control (ACLs)Support platform upgrades, patches, and new feature adoptionCollaboration & SupportCollaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to gather and refine requirementsTranslate business requirements into technical designs and solutionsProvide production support, troubleshooting, and root cause analysisPrepare technical documentation and user guides.

Required Skills & Qualifications - Technical Skills-Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow HRSD Solid experience developing custom ServiceNow applications Proficiency in:JavaScriptGlide APIBusiness Rules, Client Scripts, Script IncludesFlow Designer & Workflow EditorExperience with Service Portal / Employee Service Center / UI Builder Integration experience using REST, SOAP, and IntegrationHubUnderstanding of ServiceNow data model, CMDB basics, and ACLs.

Experience & Education - 3–6+ years of ServiceNow development experienceAt least 2+ years working with HRSD moduleBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred Qualifications - ServiceNow certifications such as:Certified System Administrator (CSA),Certified Application Developer (CAD)HRSD Implementation SpecialistExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologyExposure to Performance Analytics and ReportingKnowledge of HR processes and compliance requirementsSoft SkillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder managementAbility to work independently and in cross-functional teamsAttention to detail and commitment to quality.
