Service Technician / Delivery Driver

Seed & Stock is a family-owned office coffee and pantry service provider servicing companies in Southern California. We focus on mid-sized to large companies that are often ranked as “best workplaces” and provide them with the support they need to keep their employees fueled and happy.

To assist with this mission, we’re looking for an experienced Service Technician / Delivery Driver to join our team. The Service Technician / Delivery Driver will provide technical service to Seed & Stock’s clients for their coffee and water equipment. The Service Technician / Delivery Driver is also responsible for delivering orders safely while providing excellent customer service. As the face of the company, the Service Technician / Delivery Driver must project a professional, positive image and treat every client like they are family.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair and maintain coffee and water equipment
• Manage sufficient parts and equipment inventory
• Prepare deliveries for shipment
• Load company vehicle according to delivery route
• Deliver orders to clients safely and on-time
• Use a hand truck / pallet jack to make inside deliveries
• Foster strong relationships with clients and make sure they are always happy
• Listen to and resolve any issues or complaints
• Inform customers of new products and services
• Keep company vehicle clean and organized at all times
• Perform all job functions in a safe and professional manner

Qualifications:

• 2 years service technician and/or route delivery driver experience preferred
• Clean DMV record with zero points or restrictions
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Electrical and plumbing experience preferred
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check, physical, and drug screen
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently
• Ability to operate (or willingness to learn) material handling equipment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong initiative; ability to work independently and follow through safely and accurately on assignments with minimal supervision
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime based on company needs
• Must be able to walk, stand, and kneel for extended periods
• $30 - 40 / hour starting pay depending on experience
