SharePoint Migration & DMS Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Migration & DMS Specialist to lead a full-scale upgrade and modernization of an enterprise Document Management System (DMS). The role involves migrating from SharePoint 2010 to the latest SharePoint Subscription Edition (on-premises), implementing advanced DMS features, and ensuring a secure, compliant, and scalable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute multi-stage migration: SharePoint 2010 → 2013 → Subscription Edition.
• Design, install, and configure a scalable and secure SharePoint Subscription Edition farm, including production and DR environments.
• Migrate all existing data, documents, workflows, custom solutions, and third-party integrations with integrity.
• Implement enterprise DMS features:
• Version control, check-in/check-out, approval workflows, bulk upload, advanced search (multi-language).
• Security: MFA, SSO, granular permissions, audit logs.
• Compliance with relevant regulatory frameworks.
• Develop intranet portals for corporate and departmental use with a responsive, user-friendly UI.
• Conduct functional, integration, performance, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Provide comprehensive technical and user documentation, training, and knowledge transfer.
• Support post-implementation operations with defined SLAs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Extensive experience in SharePoint 2010, 2013, and Subscription Edition migrations.
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, farm topology, and disaster recovery setup.
• Experience with migration tools like ShareGate.
• Familiarity with custom .NET workflows, WSP solutions, and third-party integrations.
• Expertise in DMS implementation, metadata planning, compliance, and governance.
• Ability to conduct workshops, training, and prepare technical documentation.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, SQL Server, and enterprise authentication mechanisms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with large-scale enterprise migrations (20+ TB).
• Knowledge of multilingual SharePoint environments.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and regulatory compliance.

Deliverables:

• Fully upgraded SharePoint Subscription Edition farm (Prod + DR).
• Migrated SharePoint 2010 data and workflows.
• Implemented and structured DMS.
• Developed corporate intranet portals.
• Complete documentation, training, and Go-Live support.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs250,000.00 per month
