- Manage and coordinate all shipping activities related to GCC countries including import, export, and transit shipments.
- Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, port authorities, and customs officials in GCC ports.
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and handle any delays or issues proactively.
- Negotiate freight rates, contracts, and service agreements with carriers and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant shipping regulations, customs requirements, and documentation for GCC countries.
- Prepare and review shipping documentation such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, procurement, warehouse) and external stakeholders to streamline logistics processes.
- Manage the resolution of shipping disputes, claims, and insurance matters.
- Keep up to date with market trends, shipping regulations, and developments in the GCC region.
- Provide regular reports and updates on shipping status to management.
