Shipping Logistics Specialist

About the Role:

National Marine Suppliers is a global leader in the mega yacht industry, proudly serving clients for over 30 years. With a reputation built on excellence, speed, and service, we are seeking a Shipping Logistics Specialist to join our dedicated Shipping Department. This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented role with significant client and vendor interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

· Coordinate and manage 15–30 small parcel shipments per day using carriers such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc.

· Quote shipping rates and prepare pre-alerts for clients and vendors.

· Accurately enter data and process shipments using Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

· Maintain clear, professional, and timely communication with both internal departments and external logistics partners.

· Manage a high-volume email inbox (150–250 emails/day) using Microsoft Outlook or Gmail.

· Prioritize and respond to phone calls, shipping inquiries, and client updates.

· Provide exceptional customer service by anticipating client needs and ensuring timely, accurate shipments.

· Perform general administrative duties and support shipping operations as needed.

· Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong data entry and processing skills.

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

· Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with frequent multitasking.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

· A quick learner who is confident with technology and software platforms.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

· Dependable, consistent, and professional demeanor.

· Experience with shipping logistics and client communication is a plus.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

· Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Schedule:

· Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

· Occasional flexibility may be required for industry events.
