About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to join our in-office team in Islamabad. This role goes beyond traditional theme development; you will be responsible for building custom Shopify apps, checkout extensions, and advanced storefront components that power a fast-scaling DTC brand.

What You Will Do

• Build and maintain custom Shopify applications using Shopify CLI, App Bridge, and Remix/Node.js, ensuring scalable and reliable backend architecture.
• Develop Shopify checkout and UI extensions using React and TypeScript to enhance conversion and customer experience.
• Customize and optimize Shopify storefronts using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a strong focus on performance and precision.
• Integrate and manage third-party APIs and tools such as Klaviyo, reviews platforms, loyalty programs, and other growth systems.
• Deliver pixel-perfect, responsive product pages and landing pages aligned with brand and conversion standards.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs while continuously optimizing site performance, stability, and uptime.
• Collaborate closely with marketing and design teams to ship high-impact features quickly, using Git and disciplined clean-code practices.

Who You Are

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Web or Shopify theme development, with a strong track record of building scalable e-commerce solutions.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+), with a focus on clean, maintainable code.
• Hands-on experience with React.js for building dynamic UI components and Shopify extensions.
• Backend development experience with Node.js (Express or Remix preferred), supporting full-stack Shopify solutions.
• Solid understanding of Shopify Liquid, along with experience building or maintaining custom Shopify apps and extensions.
• Familiarity with Shopify APIs including Admin API, Storefront API, and App Bridge, with a portfolio of relevant projects required.
• Experience working within the Shopify ecosystem, including checkout extensibility, Metafields, Metaobjects, Functions, and tools like Klaviyo or Appstle (nice to have).
• Strong execution mindset: ships fast without compromising quality, highly detail-oriented, self-sufficient in troubleshooting, and able to manage multiple priorities while communicating clearly with cross-functional stakeholders.
