ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Short-Form Video Creator to help grow our audience, support therapist recruiting, and educate parents and families through high-quality short-form content.

This role is ideal for someone who understands retention, pacing, and clarity — not just clean edits. You’ll be responsible for creating engaging short-form videos across multiple platforms while collaborating with a creative team working on larger initiatives, including a mockumentary-style video series.

WEEKLY OUTPUT

  • 14 shortform videos per week

GOALS

  • Grow our shortform audience across platforms
  • Support therapist recruiting through engaging content
  • Educate parents and families on pediatric therapy
  • Build longterm brand awareness and brand salience

  • Realtime, documentarystyle clips from therapy visits and events

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create highretention shortform videos from concept to final delivery, including clip selection, pacing, hooks, captions, and polish
  • Edit and repurpose longform or raw footage into engaging shortform content optimized for each platform
  • Add captions, light motion graphics, sound design, and visual elements when appropriate to improve clarity and retention
  • Stay current on shortform trends, formats, and platform best practices
  • Collaborate on larger creative initiatives, including an inproduction mockumentarystyle series
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining consistent weekly output

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

REQUIRED

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Strong understanding of shortform pacing, hooks, and retention strategies
  • Experience working within organized workflows (Notion, Asana, or similar)
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Ability to take feedback and iterate quickly

PREFERRED

  • Basic motion graphics experience
  • Experience with healthcare, education, or familyfocused content
  • Comfortable documenting realworld environments

PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENT

Applicants must submit 3–5 short-form video examples (TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts).

HIRING PROCESS

Final candidates may be asked to complete a short, paid test edit.
