Shuttering Foreman

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise erection, alignment, leveling, and dismantling of shuttering/formwork
• Execute formwork strictly as per approved structural drawings and shop drawings
• Ensure formwork is adequately supported, braced, and safe prior to concreting
• Manage shuttering carpenters and helpers, assigning daily tasks
• Coordinate with steel fixing and concreting teams
• Ensure proper use, storage, and maintenance of formwork materials and accessories
• Prevent formwork-related defects such as leakage, misalignment, and honeycombing
• Follow approved stripping time and dismantling procedures
• Enforce UAE HSE rules, including working at height and formwork safety
• Assist during consultant inspections before concrete pouring

Qualifications:

• ITI / Trade Certificate or equivalent practical training
• 5–10 years of experience as a Shuttering Foreman
• UAE or GCC experience preferred
• Experience in high-rise buildings, villas, or infrastructure works
• Ability to read and understand structural drawings
• Knowledge of formwork safety, load support, and bracing
• Hands-on supervision capability on fast-track UAE projects
