1. Execution of Construction Activities
Responsibilities:
- Execute daily civil works as per drawings, method statements, and quality standards.
- Ensure timely completion of activities such as shuttering, reinforcement, concreting, masonry, plastering, flooring, finishing, etc.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth work flow.
2. Quality Assurance & Standards Compliance
Responsibilities:
- Ensure work is executed as per approved quality standards, IS codes, and specifications.
- Conduct inspections with QA/QC teams and ensure closure of NCRs.
- Maintain daily construction quality checklists.
3. Progress Monitoring & Reporting
Responsibilities:
- Track daily and weekly work progress vs. project schedule.
- Prepare DPR (Daily Progress Report), WPR (Weekly Progress Report), and update site logs.
- Highlight delays, constraints, and resource shortages proactively.
4. Material Management
Responsibilities:
- Estimate material requirements and raise indents on time.
- Verify material quality and quantity at the time of delivery.
- Prevent material wastage and ensure proper storage.
5. Contractor & Workforce Management
Responsibilities:
- Supervise contractor teams and ensure manpower productivity.
- Allocate tasks to workers and monitor performance.
- Resolve site-level execution issues with contractors/subcontractors.
6. Safety Compliance
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all site activities meet safety standards and PPE compliance.
- Coordinate with the Safety Engineer for toolbox talks and safety observations.
- Stop unsafe work and implement corrective measures.
7. Drawings & Documentation
Responsibilities:
- Review latest drawings and ensure correct version is used on site.
- Maintain drawing registers, reports, and documentation.
- Communicate discrepancies (RFI) to planning/engineering teams.
8. Coordination with Stakeholders
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with architects, MEP teams, planning, quality, and purchase departments.
- Attend site meetings and provide updates on progress, challenges, and action plans.
