Site Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our project site. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating site activities, managing on-site personnel and subcontractors, and maintaining clear communication between all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day operations on the site to ensure compliance with project plans and timelines.
• Monitor and enforce safety standards in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
• Coordinate and direct subcontractors and site workers.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship meets quality standards.
• Report project progress to management and escalate issues as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and incident reports.
• Ensure materials and equipment are available and used efficiently.
• Facilitate site meetings and ensure clear communication across teams.
• Enforce site cleanliness and proper waste disposal practices.
• Resolve conflicts or delays and liaise with external stakeholders such as clients, consultants, and inspectors.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, CSCS, SMSTS) are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
• Competent in using site management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Physically fit and able to work in various site conditions.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily based on-site, with exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
• May require weekend or extended hours based on project demands.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
