Skilled Nursing Facility Business Office Manager (BOM) and HR Coordinator

What You’ll Do

Business Office Responsibilities

  • Lead daily Business Office operations in a skilled nursing setting

  • Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, billing, and Resident Trust Accounts

  • Process payroll accurately and maintain employment records in coordination with HR functions

  • Maintain census records, resolve discrepancies, and submit required reports

  • Ensure accurate billing for Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payors

  • Follow up on past-due accounts with appropriate documentation

  • Communicate with residents, families, and payors regarding financial matters

  • Maintain financial records, budgets, and office systems in compliance with regulations

HR & Team Member Support Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage recruitment activities, including postings, candidate communication, and interview scheduling

  • Develop and execute recruiting plans to attract qualified candidates

  • Assist with onboarding and new hire processes to ensure a smooth transition

  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with policies and regulations

  • Network through industry contacts, associations, and employee referrals

  • Provide administrative support to leadership and help foster a positive employee experience

What You Bring

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • Minimum three (3) years of bookkeeping, Business Office, HR, or related experience

  • Long-term care or healthcare experience strongly preferred

  • Payroll, AR/AP, or recruiting experience preferred

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Service-oriented mindset with a desire to learn and grow

  • Positive, dependable, and team-focused attitude with excellent attendance
