What You’ll Do
Business Office Responsibilities
Lead daily Business Office operations in a skilled nursing setting
Oversee Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, billing, and Resident Trust Accounts
Process payroll accurately and maintain employment records in coordination with HR functions
Maintain census records, resolve discrepancies, and submit required reports
Ensure accurate billing for Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payors
Follow up on past-due accounts with appropriate documentation
Communicate with residents, families, and payors regarding financial matters
Maintain financial records, budgets, and office systems in compliance with regulations
HR & Team Member Support Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage recruitment activities, including postings, candidate communication, and interview scheduling
Develop and execute recruiting plans to attract qualified candidates
Assist with onboarding and new hire processes to ensure a smooth transition
Maintain employee records and HR documentation in compliance with policies and regulations
Network through industry contacts, associations, and employee referrals
Provide administrative support to leadership and help foster a positive employee experience
What You Bring
High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum three (3) years of bookkeeping, Business Office, HR, or related experience
Long-term care or healthcare experience strongly preferred
Payroll, AR/AP, or recruiting experience preferred
Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Service-oriented mindset with a desire to learn and grow
Positive, dependable, and team-focused attitude with excellent attendance
