SMA Analyst

Who You’ll Work With:

We are seeking a San Antonio, Texas based Analyst to join our Oversight Team in SMA Operations Team. The SMA Analyst will be responsible for performing and overseeing the various tasks that support the SMA fixed income and equity portfolio business. The best candidate for this position will possess outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication skills; intermediate operational knowledge involving securities, trading, portfolio management, trade settlement, reconciliation corporate actions and reporting.

What You’ll Do:

The SMA Analyst will be responsible for providing service and support to the SMA fixed income and equity portfolio management and sales teams. The Analyst will be responsible for a wide variety of evolving tasks related to but not limited to this support. Key applications used are Fiserv Security APL, MS Excel, MS Access, AWD, Bloomberg and web-based sponsor trading and trade support applications.

What We’re Looking For:

The candidate should have very strong communication and analytical skills and be highly organized and detail oriented. The candidate should demonstrate proficiency in manipulating and generating Excel spreadsheets and using Access databases. The candidate should demonstrate a strong understanding of securities markets. The ideal candidate would have at three to five years’ experience in the finance industry and ideally a Business or Finance degree.
