Experience

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in drilling operations, wellsite supervision, or petroleum field activities.

Job Purpose

The Drilling Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all drilling operations on-site to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution in compliance with company standards and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise drilling crews and ensure compliance with drilling programs, safety standards, and operational procedures.
• Monitor drilling parameters and ensure adherence to the drilling plan.
• Coordinate with drilling engineers, geologists, and other technical staff to resolve operational issues.
• Ensure all equipment and materials are available and maintained in proper condition.
• Prepare and submit daily drilling reports and progress updates.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement on the rig site.
• Strong understanding of drilling operations, rig systems, and well control.
• Effective leadership and communication skills.
• Problem solving and decision making under pressure.
• Familiar with safety and environmental standards (HSE compliance).

Preferred Certifications

• Well Control (IWCF or IADC) - preferred.
• H2S and First Aid Training.
