Snr Sales Director

As part of our growth we are looking for a Sr Sales Director in Europe or the Middle East ,where you will be part of a global sales team fighting fraud and piracy!


Position Summary & Objective:


The Senior Sales Director develops key sales growth strategies, tactics, and action plans for customers. The role involves working closely with key government agencies and ministers, using cutting-edge technologies and expertise across the Crane Authentication product line. The role initiates and manages ongoing business relationships with new accounts as well as an identified group of existing Crane Authentication clients.


Essential Functions Performed by the Position


  • Develops and executes strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand customer base, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Partners with customers to understand business needs and objectives to generate revenue. Develops new business across assigned verticals.
  • Manages all aspects of the sales process, including prospecting, creation and follow up of new leads.
  • Communicates the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Understands market-specific landscapes and trends and communicates market conditions that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts,
  • Assists other sales personnel with deals that involve cross-selling opportunities within the Crane Authentication team.
  • Supports initiatives of the product and marketing departments.
  • Provides input and assistance as needed with collateral development, webinars, trade shows, advertorial writing, etc.
  • Represent Crane Authentication at tradeshows, conventions, or seminars

Position Qualifications


Experience:


  • Deep knowledge of government operations and strong connections across key departments such as tax collection, customs, and the Ministry of Finance.
  • Excellent knowledge of the sales process, a solid understanding of geopolitics, and a proven ability to engage clients effectively while delivering accurate forecasts.
  • Previous knowledge of, and experience working in the business-to-business sectors related to sports, licensing, apparel, and footwear
  • Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining profitable long-term business relationships

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of our products and services
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Ability to understand complex business problems then develop and articulate appropriate solutions
  • Strong experience with software in PC and/or Mac environments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in CRM, pipeline management such as Salesforce.com
  • Strong prospecting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Must be able to fit into a culture where teamwork, empowerment, responsibility, and accountability are of utmost importance
  • Professional demeanor and track record of successful interactions with individuals at all organizational levels
