The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Nursing has been the leader in nursing education in North Carolina throughout its history. Established in 1950, it was the first school of nursing in North Carolina to offer a four-year baccalaureate nursing degree program followed by the first master’s degree program, the first continuing education program for nurses, first doctoral program, and first accelerated BSN option to students with college degrees. Position Summary
An R01 virtual nursing research grant (2026-2031) is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Research Associate to support the planning, implementation, and oversight of research studies evaluating virtual care models. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical or health services research, strong project management skills, and a commitment to improving healthcare systems.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Management Preferences
Previous experience working on research projects
