Hiring for technology and professional services firm based in Toronto.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Social Media Management
- Plan, create, and schedule content across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and other relevant platforms.
- Build and maintain a consistent brand presence that positions the company as a credible, go-to name in the online space
- Create engaging posts, carousels, reels, and stories that drive visibility and engagement
- Monitor trends, engage with communities, respond to comments/DMs, and grow organic following
- Track and report social media performance — focus on what converts, not just what gets likes
2. Email Marketing
- Design and execute email campaigns for lead nurturing, promotions, and client retention.
- Build and manage email lists; segment audiences for targeted outreach.
- Write compelling email copy with strong CTAs that drive responses and bookings.
- A/B test subject lines, content, and send times to continuously improve open and click-through rates.
- Monitor deliverability, unsubscribes, and overall campaign health.
3. Lead Generation & Business Development Support:
- Monitor deliverability, unsubscribes, and overall campaign health.
- Proactively identify and pursue leads via LinkedIn, Facebook Groups, Instagram, referrals, and partner networks
- Handle inbound inquiries from ads, DMs, and contact forms — respond fast and qualify effectively
- Conduct basic screening to qualify leads and book discovery calls or consultations
- Maintain and update the lead pipeline in a CRM tool (HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive, or equivalent)
- Coordinate with the internal team for smooth lead-to-client handoff and onboarding
4. Reporting & Performance Tracking:
- Track and report weekly on key metrics: reach, engagement, leads generated, email performance, and conversions
- Maintain a simple performance dashboard (Google Sheets or equivalent)
- Continuously test, learn, and iterate based on data
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, or a growth/BD role.
- Prior experience in a software house, SaaS company, or tech startup is strongly preferred.
- Knows how to generate real leads — not just impressions and follower counts.
- Solid understanding of how to position a brand and create demand in the online space.
- Comfortable with email marketing tools (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Apollo, or similar).
- Familiar with CRM tools and maintaining a clean lead pipeline.
- Strong written communication — can craft copy that actually converts.
- Self-starter who takes ownership and doesn't need micro management.
- Remote discipline: reliable, self-managed, consistent daily execution.
