Job Overview: Social Media & Marketing Coordinator
Counsel Carolina is seeking an energetic, creative and organized Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to help grow our brand presence, engage with our community, oversee marketing initiatives across digital platforms and support a positive office culture through organized events and brand initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, content creation, and analyzing what works to improve performance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Firm leadership to grow the Counsel Carolina brand through our online platforms, community events, partnerships, campaigns, and promotions in both the Raleigh and Hickory communities.
- Spearhead development of a marketing plan within budget with support from Firm leadership.
- Develop, curate, and schedule engaging content across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and posting content regularly.
- Professionally curate and edit raw written copy, video, and photos into high quality content for social media and the internet.
- Monitor social media channels and respond to comments, messages, and community interactions.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure brand consistency, messaging, and visibility optimization.
- Maintain accurate records of campaign activities, engagement metrics, and advertising budgets while ensuring proofreading for all published content.
- Order branded merchandise and manage inventory for distribution to employees and for use at community events.
- Support email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and website updates.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, tools, and best practices to maximize Firm exposure and engagement with the public.
Experience
- Proven experience, 1 -3 years preferred, in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing roles with a strong portfolio and measurable success (e.g., followers, engagement, clicks, views).
- Familiarity with social media management tools.
- Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe and Canva.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research techniques, web analytics (Google Analytics), and social listening tools is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of branding principles, relationship management strategies, social media trends, tools and public relations fundamentals.
- Ability to produce high-quality visual content through photography or video editing.
- Excellent proofreading skills combined with attention to detail to ensure all content aligns with brand standards.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
