Job: Social Media Assistant for Jax Wood Fired Pizza

Location: Jax Wood Fired Pizza in North Shore, Oʻahu (Haleʻiwa + Sharks Cove Locations)

Position Type: Hourly ($18/hr)

Schedule: Set weekly schedule with consistent hours (includes evenings/weekends for pre-planned events)

Experience Level: Entry-Level, Opportunity to Grow

About Us: We are a family owned and operated restaurant with two locations on the North Shore of O’ahu - Historic Haleʻiwa Town and Sharks Cove at Pūpūkea. Our mission is to serve people ‘ono food, exceptional hospitality, and share the love of Jesus to our local community.

Position Overview: We’re looking for a Social Media Assistant to capture and share the Jax culture on our social media. From daily in-store moments to community events and outreach. This role has a steady schedule with set hours and strong potential for growth.

Responsibilities:

• Capture photo & video content in-store (food, team, customers)
• Attend events and community outreach to capture content
• Edit content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook
• Post across Instagram, Facebook, & TikTok
• Respond to DMs, comments, and customer inquiries
• Assist in executing content ideas and campaigns
• Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style
• Work directly with Chief Marketing Officer to execute vision

Qualifications:

• Passion for social media, content creation, and storytelling
• Comfortable using Instagram, TikTok, and CapCut
• Reliable and able to commit to a steady, set schedule
• Willing to work some evenings/weekends for events
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
